If we want to construct boredom as a subculture this may be one of the ways we could do it, through a video documentary...this documentary breaks down some of the elements that are involved when a subculture is created and features some interesting interviews with teenagers that are part of these subcultures...take a look at this;




Here's a news report on the Emo subculture, this report demonstrates some of the beliefs that this culture entails and reveals the advertising mediums that it has spread across to reach the youth of society.



An old school documentary on the Punk subculture, this video demonstrates some of the issues parents have with their children becoming punks and joining the culture. It also links art (in the form of street graffiti) to the culture and how this provides an identity of each individual, as kids start to become known by their 'TAG' rather than their name.



hahaha this guy shows us how to become Emo, i have a feeling it would be slightly more complex than this...but take a look this could be a funny direction for us to tke one of our production videos, teaching people how to become bored?!?!?!?
